OSDE Rule Change - Standards of Performance and Conduct for Teachers


The Oklahoma State Department of Education and Secretary Walters have been busy creating and/or changing agency rules. Some of these are for the better, some for the worst.

This particular rule is meant to keep sexual predators from harming Oklahoma students as has been reported regarding several coaches here in the state. Unfortunately, the rule isn't as black and white as it needs to be. Find out why in this clip from our ROPE Report Live podcast on February 9th.

Bad Homeschool Bills In Oklahoma (2024) - Why You Should Fight Them Even If You DON'T Homeschool Your Kids

State School Board Throws Out HB1775 (Critical Race Theory) Rules - But Says Teachers Must Follow

What in the world is going on at the Oklahoma State Department of Education - again? 

July 12th, the Oklahoma State School Board voted to accept the rules written to uphold HB1775, the bill that prohibits the teaching of divisive subjects often linked to Critical Theory, or Critical Race Training.
