Wind Turbines And Conservation Easements - Tax Scam Upon Tax Scam

John Baca, a real estate attorney from Hughes county, Oklahoma, talked to Jenni and Michael about the wind turbine companies coming into Hughes county and urging people to sign leases to place the turbines. Beyond the fact that the electricity generated from these nuisance monstrosities is shipped OUT OF THE STATE, the contracts create easements on the person's property that can be used in perpetuity by whomever the wind company designates. In addition, it appears that the wind companies are cashing in on something called Syndicated Conservation Easements, explained by ProPublica, below: The syndicated versions are different. Instead of seeking to protect a bucolic reserve for wildlife or humans, profit-seeking intermediaries have turned the likes of abandoned golf courses or remote scrubland into high-return investment vehicles. These promoters snatch up vacant land that till then was worth little. Then they hire an appraiser willing to declare that it has huge, previously unrecognized development value — perhaps for luxury vacation homes or a solar farm — and thus is really worth many times its purchase price. The promoters sell stakes in the donation to individuals, who claim charitable deductions that are four or five times their investment. The promoters reap millions in fees. (https://www.propublica.org/article/syndicated-conservation-easement-irs-tax-scam) Wind turbine development in Oklahoma must stop. The Oklahomans who sign leases to turbine companies for turbine easements on their land may reap a windfall at first, but they soon find that they'll never really own the land on which the turbines are built and, as John says, the lack of transparency surrounding the lease agreements eventually harms the land owner.

Wind Turbines Ruin Quiet County Thanks To Absentee Land Owners

11.22.24, Jenni and Michael interviewed John Baca, a real estate attorney from Hughes County, Oklahoma. Along with hundreds of his neighbors, John has been fighting the placement of wind turbines throughout the county - 42 THOUSAND acres signed away by 42 people. County Commissioners have been no help - they simply say they can't regulate what a person wants to do on their own property - however, wind turbines are more than a nuisance as John explains. Wind turbines should not be placed on the property of someone who doesn't live on the property - let alone in the county - so that it effects other property owners but not them.

Wind Subsidies Are Destroying The Natural Gas Market In Oklahoma

Natural gas is clean, efficient and available in Oklahoma through companies that live and work AND PAY TAXES in Oklahoma.

Natural gas companies get no subsidies and the wind generation in the state - so much of which is sent OUT OF STATE because Oklahoma already has more energy than we can use - which are very heavily subsidized, are destroying the market for natural gas. Why are we allowing this to happen in Oklahoma - a natural gas state?

Oklahoma Is Getting Used By Wind Generation Companies And We're Letting Them

Our guest for 11.20.24 was Chad McDougall, Chair of the Oklahoma Petroleum Alliance. We discussed the differences between fossil fuels and renewables.

Oklahoma generates more energy than we use, and oil and gas pay millions in taxes to the state, yet wind generation gets millions in tax subsidies and ships their energy out of the state. WHAT. IS. GOING. ON?

Carbon Capture Scam Explained

Friday, November 15th, Julianne Romanello came on with Michael and Jenni to talk about Carbon Credits - what they are and what they are supposed to do.

Julianne takes the time to explain what Carbon Capture is - that it is a part of the desire to develop hydrogen fuels. Hydrogen produces hydrocarbons that - if they can be sequestered, or pulled out of the atmosphere - will make hydrogen look like a very green fuel. Thus the impetus for developing carbon capture plants and CO2 pipelines.

Julianne puts the whole picture together - the big oil companies are doing this in their quest to create hydrogen fuels and they are getting big investors to fuel their work, leaving taxpayers completely at their mercy.

Republicans Are Pushing The Green Agenda In Oklahoma

Though Republicans are supposed to be skeptical of 'climate change' - it's even in our state Republican platform if anyone would read it - Oklahoma Republicans have been writing laws to allow for expanding green energy markets in Oklahoma.

Carbon sequestration is about nothing more than money - AND LOTS OF IT. Big businesses and the mega rich - like Bono - are donating to companies that are working on the 'new' economy of carbon taxes and sequestration of carbon dioxide.

Here, we run through a couple of names Trump is considering for appointments in his administration. Sadly, at least one of them has ties to climate change and the green new deal.

Oklahoma Is In Trouble When It Comes To Sex Abuse Of Students In Public Schools

Wednesday, November 13th, Michael and Jenni talked to V1SUT substack author Mary about why it is that there have been so many student abusers in Oklahoma public schools - both accused and convicted. Mary says that two reasons stand out - 1. Oklahoma has no "pass the trash" legislation. When a public school employee is accused of sexual misconduct in one school system, they just move to another and start again. Such is the case of Brent McGee in Wetumka (https://v1sut.substack.com/p/ungrooming-an-oklahoma-town-arrest) but there are many more examples. 2. Oklahoma needs to change the statute of limitations on child sex crimes. Victims often can't reconcile sex crimes committed by Oklahoma public school employees until later on in life. Adults should be able to sue the public school of the employee for longer than the 2 years currently in statute.

Without addressing these issues, Oklahoma students cannot be considered safe from sexual predation. Please follow V1SUT's substack for more information - V1SUT.com

What's The Problem With The Current Oklahoma Tax Credit For Homeschoolers?

Our guests make the distinction between homeschooling BEFORE the Oklahoma parental choice tax credit which provides a one thousand dollar tax credit to homeschoolers who choose to take it and a minimum of $7500 per child to a private school for anyone who applies and is accepted to the program. How can this tax credit hurt homeschoolers? Jana and Robert explain.

Why Is Homeschooling Important?

Two long-time homeschoolers tell us why they're happy they've chosen homeschool and why homeschooling is important for children. These distinctions are important here in America where freedom is to be key to our lives as citizens.

Oklahoma DHS and The Oklahoma Swamp - JJ Humphrey

JJ Humphrey has tried for months to procure an OSBI investigation of Oklahoma DHS. He has been thwarted at every turn by Oklahoma's elected officials including Governor Stitt and AG Drummond.

In this video clip of the live video from 11.8.24, Humphrey talks about how Oklahoma's very own SWAMP can prevent transparency and become a protectionist racket.

Inexplicably, Governor Kevin Stitt appointed the former head of the Office of Juvenile Affairs, Jeffrey Cartmell to the head of DHS after the departure of Deborah Shropshire who served less than two years in the position.

Under Cartmell's leadership, the Tulsa County Family Center for Juvenile Justice was raided by federal agents in July of this year due to extensive allegations of abuse and neglect. According to Public Radio Tulsa the center was placed on probation and was previously on probation in 2023, "though it's unclear why the status was lifted."

Why would Oklahoma not want to protect children, but instead, protect the SWAMP that appears to be allowing them to be injured?

OK DHS Is Harming Kids But No One Will Investigate - OK Rep. JJ Humphrey

Oklahoma Representative Justin "JJ" Humphrey has been a tireless advocate of families harmed by Oklahoma's DHS system. For years, whistleblowers and families have come forward to tell JJ about the problems they've had with the agency and how their families have been harmed by the policies, programs and individuals within this state agency. September 25th of this year, the House Committee on Criminal Justice and Corrections - which Humphrey chairs - sent a letter signed by a majority of the committee, to the OSBI asking them to investigate the agency. Since that time, there has been no investigation started. Governor Stitt has not requested an investigation, nor has AG Drummond and yet Humphrey has continually been given the run-around by every state agency falling all over itself to seemingly prevent an investigation from occurring. Humphrey discusses his attempts and why he thinks they are being refused.

Election Irregularities Noted In Oklahoma SD15 Primary - Robert Keyes

Robert Keyes ran for election to SD15 in Cleveland County as a Republican against Lisa Standridge in the primary this year. Fifty-one votes short of election, Keyes was fine with losing the election, but then got a call from a member of the Cleveland County GOP. That individual shared that he had found numerous anomalies in the election. Appalled at the sheer number of irregularities, Keyes wanted to file a complaint with the State Election Board (SEB) but realized that a simple recount would do little more than echo the report of the SEB, so he dug a bit deeper and found that he could file an Application For Irregularities. Keyes found this a very difficult process - so difficult in fact, that he called in attorneys. Here he explains a few of the anomalies his team found during their search.

What To Do If You Have A Problem At The Polls This 2024 Election

November 1st, Michael and Jenni had their election integrity friends, Amber Evans and Wendi Montgomery Dial back to talk about what to do if voters run into issues at their polling place. All the resources in this video clip can be found here on the blog. If you have questions - if you think something might be wrong - ask questions and - if necessary - call your county sheriff.

Sample Ballots Can Be A Great Help At Your Polling Place

Wow, today's LIVE podcast was a wide-ranger! We brought up various websites that provide voter information and walked through them a bit. We also talked a whole lot about our voting philosophies, so you won't want to miss the whole video here on YouTube and Rumble. Jenni talks about how much of a help it was for her mom when Jenni would print out her sample ballot, take it to her house and walk through her voting options. Then, her mom would take it to her polling place to use it as a cheat sheet. Don't hesitate to use this method if it will help you recall the people/issues you've decided to give your vote!

How You Know For A Fact - Carbon Sequestration Is A Scam

During the Friday, October 25th podcast, the panel talked about how hard Enid/Garfield County residents were having to work to protect themselves and their community from a 5000 solar installation to be built just north of the city. We also talked about the entirety of the green agenda being pushed by the Republicans in our state - including carbon capture. (See our article just out - Did You Know? Oklahoma Has The Second Largest Carbon Capture Plant In The World As Of August 13th, 2024) Here we talk about the absolute NONSENSE that is carbon capture - spending gazillions of tax and private dollars taking CO2 out of the air to stop 'global climate change' and storing it underground in the pore space left by oil and gas or in containment systems which can leak out and or rupture and kill anything around it - when we have little organisms that are doing that to HALF the world's CO2 FOR FREE.

Enid Residents Sue City Council For Not Doing Their Jobs

During the podcast for Friday, October 25th, NeeAnn Clinton from Enid, in Garfield County, talked with us about the 5000 acre solar installation that is being planned for just north of Enid. Many residents are not in favor of this kind of installation because of the many risks to the community that come from solar installations - including long-lasting lithium battery fires that give off toxic fumes, use millions of gallons of water to fight and require expensive, special firefighting equipment. Unfortunately, so many of the 'green agenda' projects coming in droves to a city near you in Oklahoma, are not being regulated by Oklahoma regulatory agencies, allowing 'green energy' companies coming into the state - mostly from outside - to do business as they like. This leaves citizens trying to protect their property and individual rights without any assistance from the government they pay to protect them from unregulated industry. In this episode, NeeAnn talks about desperately trying to find an Oklahoma regulatory agency to help them stop the private company NextEra, from turning 5000 acres of productive farmland into a toxic wasteland devoid of life and finally having to SUE the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission to make them follow their own regulations. Make no mistake - this is taxpayers paying a taxpayer-paid group of elected officials to do the jobs they were elected to do. How does this happen in RURAL RED STATE OKLAHOMA?

What Is Managed Care? Who Is Sooner Select Supposed To Be Helping?

Wednesday, October 23rd, we had Senator David Bullard and citizen, Salome Vaughn a former Republican candidate for Logan County Commissioner, to talk about the state's change from SoonerCare to SoonerSelect - a form of managed care. The change to managed care (a type of 'socialized' medicine) was forced by Governor Kevin Stitt, though Oklahoma had tried managed care before in the 90's and it the program lasted only 60 days before it was so UNMANAGEABLE it had to be scrapped. Here, Michael and Jenni talk with their guests drill down to just what managed care is and how and why it's not working in Oklahoma - yet again.

What Happens When We Give Non-Citizens, Citizenship Rights?

In the full video (found here on YouTube and Rumble), we talked about the fact that there is very little way that this Task Force is talking about any other than non-documented citizens – those coming across the border – not the ones already here, or coming here, with Visas to work. People who hire foreign workers – like those they seem to be talking about in the recommendations on H1B Visas – do so directly. A worker here on an H1B Visa doesn’t just ‘show up’ for work – they have to be recommended by their employer to work for them, or they have to be sponsored by a church or another sponsoring organization. These pathways are already well-known and well-used by Oklahoma employers. It may seem nuts for Jessica to say that the majority of undocumented people can’t even read in their own language before entering the country (making them a HUGE liability in every way – including public schools!), but I found a study done in 2017 – before it became racist to say “illegal immigrant” – which clearly shows that English literacy hovered around 40% for immigrants. With our own student scores now at 49th in the nation, how could we expect anything different for those coming to this country – especially those coming illegally? Since the Biden/Harris Administration’ open borders policies, child sex trafficking has more than TRIPLED. Do we think this will get better with illegals acting like citizens because they have a card that lets them drive? That just opens up a whole new world of TRAFFICKING via – legal driving! Bottom line, NOTHING THE GOVERNOR’S TASK FORCE RECOMMENDED SHOULD BE CONSIDERED AS POLICY IN 2025. The recommendations grows government, is a joke to public safety and doesn’t address the fact that most skilled workers coming here to work already have a path to that job without Oklahoma getting involved.

How Is It Public Safety To Give People Who Can't Read In Their Own Language A License To Drive?

Cam reached out with numerous insights that Michael and Jenni hadn’t heard in the press, so we asked him to come on and talk about them. Since Jessica serves with him on the Governor’s Hispanic Council, Cam suggested she come too. Of course, one of the topics discussed was the Task Force’s plan to provide – no joke – Driver’s Privilege Cards to non-citizens. Here’s Jessica talking about SOME of the problems this would cause. Seriously, we should all call out Lt. Col. Joe Williams, designee of the Commissioner of the Department of Public Safety for having zero clue about what constitutes PUBLIC SAFETY. I scoured the section of the recommendations under the heading “The Task Force recommends issuing Driving Privilege Cards to qualifying non-citizens to address public safety concerns” and couldn’t find a single place in which they said that the ‘non-citizens’ getting these cards would be TESTED like regular Oklahoma citizens are, TO DRIVE. That’s honestly outrageous. None of this Task Force's recommendations can become policy in 2025! They are all HORRIBLE.

How To Stop Child Predators In Public Schools Like Wetumka - ROPE Report Short

In this video, Mary, of V1SUT, and Casey Yochum, one of the many victims of Brent McGee, former coach, teacher and athletic director at Wetumka public schools - where his wife Donna was the Superintendent - talk about the signs parents and community members can watch for to protect students/children against child predation. This is a great short video to watch and then share with other parents. It is invaluable information that so many people overlook. So many times a coach taking time with a student is considered mentoring - and hopefully MOST of the time it is - but not always and people in the community and within the school need to have their eyes open. Unfortunately, as talked about in the video, oftentimes, victims are looked at as lying when they come forward to tell their stories of abuse by school personnel. Then, the school closes ranks around the accused and the victim is further locked out and ignored. You can find the entire video here on our YouTube channel under our 'live' video tab and you can find Mary at V1SUT.com. There, you can find all the stories of abuse that she has been following within public schools over the last several years. This. Must. Stop.

Casey Yochum - Sexual Abuse And Wetumka Public Schools; ROPE Report Short

Our friend Mary, from V1SUT Substack, has broken and then followed, several stories of student sexual abuse by public school employees - many of them coaches - across the last two years. Last month, Wetumka Public Schools coach, teacher and athletic director, Brent McGee - whose wife Donna is the Superintendent of Wetumka schools - was arrested for child sexual abuse, in part on the basis of Yochum's testimony and the evidence he provided law enforcement. Please see V1SUT's substack for the full backstory and on-going story of Casey, and other men and boys who have bravely stepped up to put McGee behind bars and away from anyone else he could possibly hurt. You can find her reporting at V1SUT.com. In this video, Casey talks a bit about how he took matters into his own hands and recorded Bret McGee admitting that he had abused him, but when he took the recording to an attorney friend, he found that his age put him beyond the statute of limitations for being able to build a case against McGee in court. Why would there be a statute of limitations to a crime? Who would that serve? Why would Senate Education Chair, Adam Pugh want to fight to have a statute of limitations on crimes committed by members of the public school system in Oklahoma? Who would benefit from that? The victims? Please watch the entire live video to hear Casey tell the full story under the 'live' tab on our YouTube channel and on Rumble. Casey wants to see the statute of limitations for crimes - especially like those perpetrated against him - done away with.

Duplicate Voter Found On Comanche County Voter Rolls After Primary Election Audit

On Friday, October 11th, Michael and Jenni had their friend Amber Evans from Comanche County, Oklahoma, on to talk about her examination of Comanche County voter rolls in the face of new information from the Oklahoma Election Board that the Oklahoma 2024 primary elections were 100% accurate. Amber ran Comanche county data against the NCOA in September of last year and found that 19.3% of the registered voters in the county had moved and/or registered in another county or state. That’s a very large number of INELIGIBLE VOTERS on the rolls in that county and who’s to say if people are double voting? How would anyone know? In addition, she also found a voter with double registration – another thing that was supposed to be in the purged data according to our Governor and the SEB. Again, without real data on the purge – which we’re not given – Oklahoma citizens are unable to examine these issues for themselves. THAT is a problem. To read more information about the full interview, check out the blogpost on our website here: https://rope2.org/2024/10/12/is-everyone-listed-on-oklahoma-voter-rolls-a-qualified-elector/

Is Everyone Listed On The Oklahoma Voter Rolls A Qualified Elector

On Friday, October 11th, Michael and Jenni had their friend Amber Evans from Comanche County, Oklahoma, on to talk about her examination of Comanche County voter rolls in the face of new information from the Oklahoma Election Board that the Oklahoma 2024 primary elections were 100% accurate. Since the 2020 election, Amber has taught herself about elections in Oklahoma and has been using the information she's learned, to examine Oklahoma's voter rolls. After the State Election Board gave its audit report for the Oklahoma primary elections, Amber looked at the number of people on the voter rolls in Comanche County who couldn't - according to state law in Title 26 - be considered 'qualified electors'. There were a large number - a large enough number to throw an election. This is concerning. Not only that, but when Jenni went back to look at the primary audit report released in August, there were NUMEROUS questions about the transparency of the data provided to the public and released through the Governor's office. That information can be found in a blog on the topic here on our website: https://rope2.org/2024/10/12/is-everyone-listed-on-oklahoma-voter-rolls-a-qualified-elector/ We simply can't be taking the SEB's word on the accuracy of our elections with so many unanswered questions existing for Oklahoma's voter rolls.

What Happens When ALPRs Are Used Unlawfully By Law Enforcement In Oklahoma?

Wedesday, October 9th - though we were supposed to have guest Julianne Romanello (we lost her to sick kids :-() - Michael and Jenni invited PikeOffOTA's Whitney Mullica to talk about an Interim study by Representative Tom Gann, "Track and Tax, Surveillance Cameras and Warrantless Searches", given to the State Powers Committee, Tuesday, October 15th.

In this clip, Michael, Whitney and Jenni go over the traffic stop that was played for the State Powers Committee during the Interim study. The clip shows a Texas man being pulled over in Oklahoma for dubious reasons (during the study, Representative Gann said that the officer tells another officer that he didn't in fact pull the guy over for going over the white line, but because his tail pipe was hanging down...) by an Oklahoma law enforcement agent.

The officer then spends time confronting the Texas resident - now seated in the back of the cruiser - with his comings and goings in Oklahoma, captured by the ALPR affixed to the front of his vehicle. According to Oklahoma law, SB359, automatic license plate readers are allowed to determine whether or not Oklahoma citizens have mandatory auto insurance.

There are no other authorized use for this software in Oklahoma, yet the data is captured and sent to many places and agencies outside Oklahoma after which Oklahoma has no control over that data.

In this clip, we talk about what happened to the Texas man and how no citizen should be treated this way by a law enforcement officer - especially while using a camera and software that only have ONE AUTHORIZED USE IN OKLAHOMA.

Watch this video and see how you would react in this poor Texas resident's place. It is quite unnerving.

Why Does Oklahoma Have Compulsory Insurance Laws?

Wedesday, October 9th - though we were supposed to have guest Julianne Romanello (we lost her to sick kids :-() - Michael and Jenni invited PikeOffOTA's Whitney Mullica to talk about an Interim study by Representative Tom Gann, "Track and Tax, Surveillance Cameras and Warrantless Searches", given to the State Powers Committee, Tuesday, October 15th.

Though none of us were able to be there in person, we all watched the video of the 2+hour study, online and gathered to discuss it.

This was truly a powerful study that informed the Oklahoma public that it was being spied upon by the software that accompanies Automatic License Plate Readers being utilized by Oklahoma's law enforcement agencies - solely ONLY ALLOWED to 'police' the state's mandatory compulsory car insurance law. In this video, we discuss why we have a law that mandates Oklahomans get car insurance.

How does that promote individual liberty?

Well, it doesn't. Listen as we flesh that out.

What Happened To Guymon After Economic Development Deals With Seaboard Farms and WalMart?

After Julianne has told Michael and Jenni about how the grift of economic development works, Michael tells Jenni and Julia about what happened to the town he grew up in - Guymon, Oklahoma - after the town created economic development deals with WalMart and Seaboard Farms. Small towns can't remain small towns when multinational corporations come in. Multinational corporations care about their bottom line - not about the health of the community. How would any town be bettered by shutting mom and pop enterprises out of competition with a multinational corporations? Town kids could grow up and work at businesses run by members of the community. Town money then stays in the town, promoting the town's values and not a large employer's.

See the full video on our YouTube and Rumble channels.

The Grift Of Economic Development Explained - Julianne Romanello; ROPE Report SHORT

In this short video - edited from our full live video found here on our YouTube channel under 'live videos', or on our Rumble channel - Julianne talks with Michael Grande and Jenni White about how the grift of Economic Development actually works.

In order to make a small town more worldly and willing to buy into the globalist ideals, an idea will be pitched that will be something that can change the ideas and mindset of town residents. For example; a town - like Chickasha, Oklahoma - which had a yearly Christmas display of lights that attracted people from many areas, the focus will change to a 'leg lamp' which is brought in to attract more people.

The 'leg lamp' is the lamp from A Christmas Story. It's a many feet tall replica of the plastic, fish-net stocking covered leg with a lampshade that looks like a skirt. So, instead of having a Christ-centered display of lights acknowledging Christmas, the focus shifts to a lamp that makes people think of a racy woman like a prostitute or a call girl.

Once the focus of values is changed and the town starts trying to meet the needs of outsiders, the focus of the businesses in the town start changing toward whatever is going to bring in visitors - like adopting 'green' standards to make sure 'big city' people will want to come.

Once the town changes to a more green-centered, or outward-facing model, the entire mode of the town shifts to something else entirely - not focusing on residents and their needs anymore.

The Grift Of Economic Development; Making small towns corporate towns - Julianne Romanello

In this clip from our podcast of 8/14/24, Julianne talks about the real 'end game' for the grift of economic development. Does it really help create jobs? Yes, while it's simultaneously degenerating everything about the small town it claimed it would 'help'.

As so many of us have learned subsequent to the plandemic, to everything there is a scheme. In the case of economic development, it's for the people at the top to get a pay check while plugging the 'have nots' into WalMart greeter type jobs as the mom and pop stores go away. In the end, the small town will falter only to be taken under the wings of the larger, greener, plugged in, tyrannical big city so that all can be funneled into the one world government model.

Insurance Isn't For Maintenance - Kayla Blount; ROPE Report Short

In case you missed it live, you can find the full podcast here on Rumble and on YouTube.

Probably one of the best conversations we had about this topic didn’t actually make it into the podcast! After we had finished, Kayla and I started talking more about the rising rates and how people could help themselves lower their home owners insurance costs. She said something I thought was SO IMPORTANT, I asked her to have the conversation again so I could record it.

Listen to what Kayla is saying in this clip – it truly is important…

Sadly, I think people today have gotten out of the habit of saving for emergencies. I think they’ve even gotten out of the habit of thinking they should bear the responsibility of paying anything out of pocket that they have insured.

I’m old enough to remember car insurance in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Back then, my car insurance only paid for some really major repair – basically, to own a car, you had to put some ‘skin in the game’ – you had to be able to pay for some repairs in cash, not through insurance. That was for a major wreck, not a fenderbender.

In fact, I think that the philosophy of, “I pay for insurance, I don’t need to pay for anything else” is super bad and here’s why. The more you expect a company of some kind to protect your investment, the more power you turn over to that company to regulate what you insure. Think on that and the insurance policies you pay for. Your insurance policies can be upwards of 20 pages; here’s what we’ll pay for and here’s what we won’t and if you want this coverage you have to do this…

Now, what happens when you have a water leak and you don’t want to pay the 3500 dollars it’s going to take to completely remediate the damage, so you file a claim on your insurance. Your insurance carrier will come along the next year and charge you more on your policy and increase your deductible because they had to shell out money to fix a relatively minor issue.

The MORE we use insurance, the MORE we’ll pay for insurance. It just is the way it works.

People have got to get to the point where we’re willing to have responsibility for the things we have and expect insurance to pay for CATASTROPHIC damages, not ‘fenderbenders’ because we are either too lazy or too unwilling to save for a ‘rainy day’.

Yes, the economy is HORRID. Yes inflation is UNBELIEVABLE. Still and all, we can’t give up our responsibility for the things we own to only insurance. We need to get back into the habit of building up an EMERGENCY FUND – even if its only 10 bucks a month. That is really the best way to save money on insuring the things we own.

To Regulate Insurance Rates Or Not - Kayla Blount; ROPE Report Short

In case you missed it live, you can find the full podcast here on Rumble and on YouTube.

Suffice it to say, insurance rates are high in Oklahoma because of our weather – and COVID. During COVID many insurers brought their prices down, only to have catastrophic weather conditions arise and cost them more than what they were earning in premiums. This – plus our awesome Biden-induced inflation – created a real perfect storm for people who had suffered a storm only to have to pay higher prices for the wood and shingles (etc) to fix their roofs and/or dwellings.

In the clip above, Kayla addresses this situation and suggests that, while Oklahoma may – at some point – have to look at some kind of legislation to keep rates from continuing to rise unabated – legislative intervention in the insurance market can become a real double-edged sword.

Our July 17th visit with V1SUT, brought to the forefront - yet again - how adults who sexually abuse children seem to somehow get lost in the system. It's bad enough when heterosexuals assault children (see V1SUT Vantage's series on Bad Coaching, describing coaches who preyed upon their young female players), but when members of the "LGBT" community are involved, it seems as though they are untouchable.

Here, Mary tells us about a situation in Bartlesville where a same sex female couple was allowed to foster a child. The child's arm was later broken, but no investigation occurred before the couple was given another child to foster, who died while in their care at 2 months of age.

Parents should be aware of not only what is going on in their schools, but what is going on in their communities as well. Better yet, their children should remain home with them to ensure their safety.

Trans.Oklahoma Documentary Documents Spiritual Battle; ROPE Report SHORT

After their success with their first, award-winning, documentary, "Saving Clayton", Kevin and Janelle Batts set out to document the life of several people detransitioning from sexual reassignment surgery here in Oklahoma.

The stories they found were achingly sad, but all of them had an element of spirituality that, in the end, was extremely positive and hopeful.

Kevin, Janelle, Jenni and Michael all talk about this aspect of the documentary Trans.Oklahoma, premiering digitally on July 17th at their website, Trans.Oklahoma.com.

Keep Your Bigotry Out Of Our Cinemas; Trans.Oklahoma Premiere Forcibly Canceled; ROPE Report SHORT

When Kevin and Janelle Batts - who own and operate Red River Creative Media - set out to document the stories of detransitioners in Oklahoma, they knew it wouldn't be an easy task.

The stories they heard from the detransitioners, though hopeful in the end, were only so after years and years of turmoil and struggle and the LGBTQ crowd traditionally calls anyone who leaves the community, or says anything negative about the community, hateful and/or bigoted.

Unfortunately, just two days before the premier of the movie at Rodeo Cinemas in Oklahoma City, the theater canceled the screening due to 'pushback' from various quadrants.

The Batts had asked Rodeo personnel if they would like to screen the film - Janelle even warned them that the film might be controversial - but the theater promised them they didn't need to see the documentary and that everything would be fine.

Two days later, the movie was out of a premier home. Watch as Janelle describes exactly what happened that led to the ousting of a private, paid screening of Trans.Oklahoma from an Oklahoma City theater.

City Councils Can't Obstruct The Public View Of Tax Dollars; Wendi Dial - ROPE Report Short

Wednesday, July 3rd, Michael and Jenni had their favorite geologist/election integrity supporter, Wendi Montgomery Dial, on to talk about an organization called Westwin Elements attempting to build a plant in Lawton, Oklahoma that would refine nickel and cobalt. We've received reports about the organization and its presence in Lawton from several viewers. Indeed, there are many questions surrounding the company and its proposed function.

Westwin Elements is a new, private organization entering Lawton. It claims to be a metal refinery for cobalt and nickel.

The City of Lawton has given this private organization - according to one publication - $24 million dollars in taxpayer dollars, though Westwin's website says $3.

Citizens have asked for information regarding the deal and some have reported that the Lawton City Council has not been as forthcoming as they would like with millions of taxpayer dollars in the mix.

Wendi points out in this video that City Council members take an oath to the Constitution which, before anything, protects the citizens, not private organizations.

True School Choice Is Eliminating Property Taxes - Sherrie Conley

In this ROPE Report Short, our guest for Wednesday, June 26th, Oklahoma Representative Sherrie Conley and Jenni White talk about what really makes "school choice". Is it the government giving people taxpayer dollars to privately school their kids (vouchers), or is it the government allowing taxpayers to have our property without property taxes (Ad Valorem) so that taxpayers could help pay to educate their own children? This led to a bit more discussion on taxation...

The video in its entirety (recorded live on the 26th) can be found on our Rumble and YouTube channels.

Schools End-Around Mandatory Reporting Laws - V1SUT Vantage, Ashley Rolen

Ashley Rolen has spent years fighting to have the coaches who broke her trust and sexually abused her while she was a student at Little Axe High School decades ago removed from public education. She has yet to be successful.

In this video V1SUT Vantage blogger, Mary, Ashley, Michael Grande and Jenni White discuss how schools are getting around mandatory sex abuse reporting laws, allowing public school employees who have abused students to just disappear from the school and wind up at another without ever being made to pay for their crimes. If we are to save Oklahoma children from sexual predators, this has to change.

Find the full video on our YouTube and Rumble channels.

Change MUST Happen To Protect Public School Students - Ashley Rolen; ROPE Report Live

Ashley Rolen submitted statements to the Little Axe school district in 2002 describing the sexual abuse that had been perpetrated on her by several coaches employed by the district.

Nothing was done. Ashley moved on with her life.

But as Ashley tells us in the full podcast (YouTube and Rumble), the day she heard about Olympic physician, Larry Nassar, and the stories of the brave gymnasts who came forward and told of their sexual abuse while under his care, she knew she had to make it right - for the other girls to whom this had happened and ones to whom it might be happening now.

Ashley filed a complaint with the Oklahoma State Department of Education under Joy Hoffmeister. She was told that they had no investigators for her case and that she'd have to do her own investigation - which she did - and returned it to the OSDE under Ryan Walters. Still, nothing has been done.

In this video, Ashley talks about what needs to happen for these reports to be taken seriously by school administration and the OSDE.

Find more on Ashley's story at V1SUT Vantage in her series on Harmful Coaching.

Observations Of Poor Voter Rolls In Oklahoma County - ROPE Report Short

Michael and I talk about our specific experiences with the voter rolls in Oklahoma County. Michael from a candidate’s perspective during his run for Edmond School Board, and me from the time the Town of Luther (where I was Mayor for a term) decided to send out letters to ALL prospective voters, alerting them to the date of an upcoming vote to increase the sales tax. Unfortunately, both Michael and I had the same experience with the voter lists we received. Michael got a list of the voters in his district to knock doors and send literature, and I got a list of voters in my district to send letters to, from the Oklahoma County Election Board (OCEB). Michael had loads of voters on his ‘walk’ list that door knockers found to be not living at the addresses identified by the OCEB and Jenni had a stack of about a quarter of the total letters she sent returned because of wrong addresses.

It makes sense that a candidate with nefarious purpose, might be able to ‘test’ a list by sending out mailers to everyone on the list given him/her by their county election board. They could then check addresses returned to make sure people don’t live at the listed address, wait until election time, apply for an absentee ballot with that person’s information and vote like the person is still on the rolls at that address. In this way, people could illegally vote absentee – and how would they be caught doing so?

From my time on the Oklahoma County Election Board (OCEB), I can tell you that there would be no way for ballot counters to have any idea if the person voting absentee lived at the address listed on the envelope – absentee ballots are notarized to signify that the voter is who he/she says they are – but it doesn’t take a genius to understand that anyone can apply to be a notary.

At the OCEB in 2023 when I was a Board member, the way absentee ballots were processed, we never even knew if there were notaries notarizing more than the lawful maximum of 20. The ballots were never laid out in piles per notary, they were simply checked to make sure all lawful information was present on the envelope and removed to another room for removal of the envelope.

Many of the elections in Edmond (Ronda Peterson, Michael Grande, Margaret Best – to name a few) that I’ve followed have had Republican candidates win at the ballot box, but then lose the race by a few absentee ballots. It certainly seems plausible and one reason Oklahoma needs to clean up our voter rolls.

Because I didn’t make a video clip of Chris’ perspective, I asked him to send me some of his suggestions for making sure Oklahoma’s voter rolls are as clean as possible.
Here’s what he sent:
Some of the things I would change are things we didn’t get into.  I’d get rid of partisan registration (and so also straight party voting) and in fact I’d favor doing away with partisan primaries altogether.  But that’s probably a different show that could also talk about open primaries, Top-Two jungle primaries, ranked-choice voting, election calendar reform, and that kind of stuff.

To be specific to the voter roll, I think it’d be really easy to add a question of “has your address changed?’ when voters sign the book at the polling place on Election Day and get that new address.  I’d also like to see an interstate voter roll integrity organization, but I’d like it to be limited to providing information for states to use as they see fit rather than dictating either to include or exclude voters.  But a major point that Wendi and I alluded to but didn’t really state straight out is that the voter rolls are always going to be heavily dependent upon the actions of individual voters.  All the laws in the world only work as well as people choosing to comply and if things are made too cumbersome it fuels the argument for a more wide-open system which is something I’m sure many people don’t want.

Wendi also sent me a follow-up with her ideas:
  1. SHOW PHOTO ID when reregistering.
  2. Reregister over 2 years and then archive the old rolls.
  3. Issue the State Election Board funds to advertise the reregistration, including mailers, commercials on local tv and radio networks.
  4. Allow provisional ballots at the polls for the first presidential election after the reregistration deadline for those who still wish to vote but missed the above advertising.
  5. Have special nursing home teams to get out and reregister the elderly and infirmed.
And here are Amber’s:

Election laws should be changed so that registered voters & candidates – through canvassing – can report voters not living at the address for which they are registered.
The State Election Board should then go through the appropriate steps to verify the findings and remove the voter from the rolls once verified.
The voter rolls need to be cleaned more often, and the State Election Board needs to look at the rolls and go through the proper process to get correct lawfully physical addresses for voters on the rolls and remove any addresses violating O.S.26

After reading the blog and watching the videos, take some time to have a discussion with your duly elected Representative and Senator about this issue – even forward them this article. As Wendi pointed out so well in her closing, clean voter rolls containing only lawful entries are of upmost importance to – not only the security of Oklahoma elections – but the electoral process itself.

ROPE Report Live OK Voter Roll Re-Register Debate – Who Won?

Sorry to disappoint – that was a click-bait title (LOL) – but no one ‘won’ the debate.

In fact, it was one of the best discussions we’ve had on the ROPE Report. Chairman of the Libertarian Party and Bethany City Council Board Member, Chris Powell, joined our friends Amber Evans and Wendi Montgomery Dial (OK State Director of Restore Liberty) to talk about whether or not voter rolls in Oklahoma need to be archived and all voters re-registered.

We gave each of the three 5 minutes in a round robin to talk about why – or why not – the voter rolls should be re-registered. You can find the entire live broadcast on our YouTube and Rumble channels, but here is a wrap-up of the pro-position by Wendi.

In the video, Wendi references a candidate challenge – of which Chris was a part, because the candidate was a Libertarian – adjudicated by the Oklahoma State Election Board during candidate filing earlier this year. Amber, Wendi, Michael and I talked specifically about this issue in our ROPE Report LIVE from April 26th of this year, starting at about 31 minutes in.

It’s well worth the watch if you’re so inclined – very interesting information.

Is Your Private School Now A 'Non-Public' School? Sarah DeNeui - ROPE Report Short

Wednesday, June 5th, Broken Arrow resident and homeschooling mom, Sarah DeNeui, spoke with Michael and Jenni about the new "Office Of School Choice" that's been advertised in a press release by State Superintendent Ryan Walters. This is a sticky wicket.

Mr. Walters worked for a privately-funded organization that championed school choice options. Why increase the size of government by taking over the job of a non-profit? Why can't that non-profit continue to do that job?

That's one question. The next question came after Mrs. DeNeui spoke with her contact in Walter's office regarding the concerns she had about this office. The response she received, mentioned a new word - "non-public" education.

Really, there are only two forms of education - private (paid for privately by parents) and public (any school that receives an appropriation from the state for education) - so where does "non-public" come in. We ask - and answer - that question in this video clip from the live video which can be found under the heading of "live" videos on our YouTube channel or on our Rumble channel.

You'll want to watch this video whether or not you have your child/children in private schools - especially if you're concerned about government overreach and federal intervention in local education.

If You Can't Answer These Questions, You Can't Support Vouchers; Sarah DeNeui - ROPE Report Short

Wednesday, June 5th, Sarah DeNeui - a homeschooling mom and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, resident - came on the podcast to talk about the bill that ushered in Oklahoma's "Universal School Choice", HB1934, 2023.

She began to research the bill because it included a provision for homeschoolers to collect $1000.00 in tax credits if they provided all the information required and were eligible. She wanted to know if homeschooling could somehow be damaged by the program so she did a deep dive.

What she found concerned her, so she started asking herself questions about the entire program - especially the part where the state gives public money to private schools. Those who believe vouchers are a good thing should take the time to answer each question Sarah has thoughtfully asked.

If you can still support vouchers after this video, there simply isn't a way to be a self-identified "conservative", or "small government" or even "Republican". There really isn’t…

Parents Hire Attorneys While OK Public Schools Fight Them With Taxpayer Dollars - ROPE Report Short

When taxpayer and citizen of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Brice Chaffin, attended a Stillwater Public Schools School Board meeting to express his concern over an SPS 'policy' of allowing boys into girl's restrooms during a public comment portion of the meeting where he had 3 minutes to speak, he was removed from the meeting after reading scripture.

Maria Seidler, an attorney with her own group, Legal Overwatch for Parent's School Rights, filed a lawsuit against SPS Board Members based on the Oklahoma Religious Freedom Act, with ROPE on behalf of Brice. The lawsuit was lost at all levels - including the OK Supreme Court. All the lawsuit asked for was for SPS Board Members to make a public apology to Brice for reacting to his comments by directing a police officer to remove him from the podium after he had used scripture in his comments.

Instead of an apology, SPS used 45 THOUSAND taxpayer dollars to fight the lawsuit in court and in appeals. Additionally, SPS's attorneys filed a countersuit against ROPE and Chaffin for attorney's fees. Though the Oklahoma Religious Freedom Act did not prevail in favor of Chaffin's religious commentary, it did prevail in preventing the court from directing ROPE and Chaffin from awarding SPS's attorneys with 45 THOUSAND dollars.

How is it that parents have to hire an attorney with money out of their own budgets to force public schools to treat parents with respect for their religious views or their rights, yet public schools will use taxpayer dollars to fight the religious views and rights of parents with money that was taken from them to fund the school?

When a public entity holds all the cards, it can only be called, TYRANNY.
